In this 4th section of the Irish Era on Pirate Radio, we go right back to the emergence of Radio Dublin in early 1970s Its split into one of the most successful and progressive stations of the era, ARD257, which closed in Dec1979, thinking it was all over! It came back as Radio 257. Station owners ‘Dr’ Don Moore & Dave C give detailed accounts of what went on.
Dave C gives one of the most incisvie accounts of the period. Sections recorded during the period of shock after NOVA, Sunshine &KISS FM were closed by illegal raids in May 83. (This is dealt with in detail in Part 5.)
